Bio

Joseph Buckler is a composer, sound designer, notation maker and conductor from the South-West, UK.

​

Joseph makes and notates music & sound for moving images, theatre, games, TV, interpretation design, installation and art. He also conducts and directs ensembles live and for recording.

​

He carries out deep musical investigations and research for his projects, inspiring project specific composition, mediums, publications, instruments, composition tools and palettes.

​​

​He is the Founder and Director of Sculpting Sounds, a studio specialising in music composition, sound design, notation and music tools for composers.

​

Credits, collaborators and placements include: BBC, ITV, Wells Cathedral Choir, Vicars' Close, Glastonbury Festival, Architectural Thread, Wrong Robin, Banks & Wag, Thermal Music, Sauce Music.
